Based at Saltby. Consisted of 32nd (S2), 50th (2R), 61st (Q9) and 62nd (E5) Troop Carrier Squadrons. Flew 198 C-47 and 6 C-53 sorties - carrying 2,330 British and 604 Polish parachute troops on the First and Second Lifts, and the Third Lift to Driel.

315th Troop Carrier Group
Commander : Colonel Hamish McLelland
Based at Spanhoe. Consisted of 34th (NM), 43rd (UA), 309th (M6), and 310th (4A) Troop Carrier Squadrons. Flew 109 C-47 sorties - carrying 902 British and 964 Polish parachute troops on the First and Second Lifts, and the Third Lift to Driel.
