This section lists the medals and awards given to men of the 1st Airborne Division and their supporting units for actions during the Battle of Arnhem or in subsequent events connected to it. I have little information on decorations awarded to the 52nd US Troop Carrier Wing, RAF, and RASC Air Despatch Units, so help with any of these would be much appreciated. Where possible I have tried to indicate the individuals unit and their status after the battle - killed, wounded, POW, evader, or evacuated - but a number of these details are unknown to me, so if you can help fill in the blanks, or if you can spot any inaccuracies, please do let me know by writing to pegasusarchive@googlemail.com.
